Arnold Stromberg, Ph.D. – Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Stromberg invented the Delta Signal. He is an expert in statistical computation and is experienced in statistical process control (SPC) as an author and a consultant. He earned his Ph.D. in Statistics in1989 at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and a M.S. in Statistics in 1988, also at the University of North Carolina. His undergraduate degree in Mathematical Sciences was completed in 1983 at Stanford University.
In addition to his role as CEO and Director of Technology Development with Stat Tech, Dr. Stromberg is Associate Professor and Director of Statistical Services for the Department of Statistics at the University of Kentucky and Director of Data Analysis for the Microarray Core Facility at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. In addition to his recent patent, he is the author of numerous journal articles and conference papers on statistical analysis.
Rebecca Weems, Ph.D. – President and Director of Business Development
Dr. Weems coordinates technical and research applications as well as manages Stat Tech’s marketing and general business activities. She earned her undergraduate degree in Economics at Cornell University in 1981 and her doctorate in Business Administration, with a concentration in Strategic Management, at the University of Kentucky in 1999. Prior to starting Stat Tech, Dr. Weems was Director of Regulatory Affairs and Intellectual Property at Alltech, Inc. in Nicholasville, Kentucky, a bioscience company marketing products in over 75 countries worldwide. Dr. Weems’ management background also includes museum start up and two years as Operations Manager with a yacht contract manufacturer and importer. She lived and worked in Taipei, Taiwan for two years and is functionally fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
